Since 2010 what would seem the start of the CJ heading there has been 7 columns of posts. Under the DIY sub heading there is only, not quite one solitary column.

Pathetic isn't it!

So how about some support for your column for your CJ. Yes I agree there is better coverage with a larger readership elseware, like our General column and ClubCJ, so If you promote those by preference, it would be appreciated if you would add a similar entry in your own CJ column or even a reference to those entrees.
Yes I have been guilty of doing this myself but am holding off from transferring any more, because it is getting to be embarrassing to see the number of entries I have already posted there.

Creat items easier to find by you and other CJ owners and interested parties

One possible answer to the above is due to a well built and reliable model that hasn't been around long enough
( only 4 years of cars out of warranty)for sufficient people requiring assistance and no dought the existence of ClubCJ. ClubCJ might be excusive but I recon we are better easier to follow and more friendly.

Any new kind of budget car isn't going to receive the modding attention that say... a new SS commodore would (for many reasons including what you've listed, you buy a new car for peace of mind, reliability and warranty, and you throw that out the window when you start to mod, so people don't mod new cars). It is largely a family/commuter car and that puts it into a category where any and all mods are going to be purely cosmetic like wheels or panels or non-existent because of the largely sedentary ownership base, like trying to mod a Hyundai i30. That kind of thing doesn't require in-depth analysis or DIY's etc a much as other more mod-able cars.

ClubCJ was established years ago when the CJ was still relatively fresh and it took a little while to get off the ground, but then it took off like a rocket because of the sheer number of them on the road, because the CJ is one of those weird exceptions where now it's had a long enough run that you literally can't escape them so the ownership base is quite large. A quick Google search shows that ClubCJ pops up before AusLancer on any search similar to "2010 lancer forum" except for 2015/16 and that's because of unrelated text. And if you include CJ in the search then ClubCJ is always the first result. And why wouldn't you want to be on a forum that is solely dedicated to your model of car? The information base would be insane, hence the large CJ traffic flow to ClubCJ and not here.

In saying that, the relatively non-existent level of CJ info here probably contributes to the lack of CJ owners flowing through here, so by all means if you want to see more CJ traffic then increase the CJ info base available here. We don't own one, you do. Be the change you want to see in the world (my own original quote, I swear).
