boot lid not flush with tail lights

im pretty sure either the boot or tail lights have been swapped...being a 99 model what lights/ boot should it have? ce coupe 99 mr
 
Should have CE1 non kinked style boot. Very open without the shroud for the license plate. The lights should look like the evo 5 lights with no kink at the top also.
It is very possible that the kinked lights would have been installed as a replacement for the non kinked as to those who don't know they would look very similar

That's my old ce guys ...LOL very nice Mr it was but now I have bought another Mr same green colour different boot shape (like evo shaped) but very similar if not same tail lights
 
Yeah ya problem there is you got CE 2/3 tails with a CE1 boot.

You'll need to swap either the boot or tails to match.

Most people prefer the CE1 boot and tails are an easier swap so I'd go with that.
